Capital Campus
A space built for tomorrow’s leaders
Indiana University’s Capital Campus is more than a place to live while you make your impact in DC. It’s a space to collaborate with your peers across academic disciplines, work alongside the nation’s leading policy makers, and develop professional relationships in the nation’s capital that lead to tomorrow’s career opportunities.
This new, innovative space connects students across all majors to internships, courses, and immersive programs that bring classroom learning into the rooms where decisions are made. It’s a distinctly IU experience in the nation’s capital—one campus, one community, and countless pathways to jump-start your future.
This building represents a major step forward in our vision for IU as a national and global leader. Students and faculty across disciplines and interest areas will benefit from this important investment, just as the country and the world will benefit from IU’s prominent leadership.
Pamela Whitten Indiana University President
Live your best life in DC
The Crimson Row is your home at IU’s Capital Campus. Located in a secure, private building in the heart of Embassy Row, IU students can live in comfort with on-site amenities, while being close to renowned think tanks, influential foundations and institutes, and over 170 foreign embassies and diplomatic residences.
I’ve learned so much from being in Washington, DC, and I’ve gained experience in the real world for my career. It was a turning point for me and solidified my passion for public service.
